Ballinger is a 57’9” Historic Traditional Narrowboat, originally built in 1895 by Bantock Bros. Ballinger was built as a joey boat for use on the BCN. In its current form it was converted by Max Sinclair in the 1960’s. The fitout was undertaken by Ken Brenchley, who at the time was working at Brinklow Boat Services and the traditional decoration is by Phil Speight.

Much steelwork has taken place in recent years and the hull is in excellent order given the age of the craft.

Barnacle Bill is a traditional style Narrowboat, which was built in 1991 by North West Fabrications. It’s a well-constructed liveaboard boat that has benefited from much recent maintenance. In its recent history it has been grit blasted and 2-pack epoxy blacked following recommendations from a survey, at which time the hull received some steelworks from a highly regarded yard.

A survey from 2022 is available for prospective purchasers to view, to give confidence in the condition of the hull.

Tuco is a stunning new build 60ft Tug Style Narrowboat, which was built by Dave Ross of Brinklow Boat Services in the style of a W.J. Yarwoods, Cowburn and Cowpar boat. It is offered in the form of a ‘sailaway’ with the back cabin being fitted by Rex Wain and a Lister HRW3, which was rebuilt by Dave Ross, being housed in the engine room. The main accommodation has been sprayfoamed and is awaiting a fit out.
