My Way No.1 is a delightful 40’ traditional narrowboat that would work equally well as a cosy, economical city home afloat or a comfortable, easy to handle cruising boat. It has been tastefully refurbished and updated inside and out, with a fresh clean interior and an exterior repaint.

Well Deck:                 

My Way No.1 has an open well deck and there are steps that lead down into the saloon.


The saloon is an open area that has free standing furniture, the saloon has recently had new laminate flooring and the cabin sides are lined in solid oak T&G, the hull sides and roof are painted ply, it’s a light and bright airy space. The area is heated from a recently refurbished Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove which sits on a quarry tile hearth with a slate grey tiled surround. There is storage under the well deck.


My Way No.1 has an ‘L’ shaped galley, the galley is equipped with a 4-ring gas hob, an eye level oven and a 12v fridge. The work surfaces are laminate and there is a stainless steel sink, the galley has a tiled slate grey splash back. There is also another unit on the starboard side of the boat.


The bedroom has a fixed 4ft double bed with a brand new memory foam mattress. There are cupboards above the bed with large drawers under the bed for storage.


The bathroom is located off a starboard side corridor, the bathroom is a wet room that has a shower over a shower tray with a shower curtain, a brand new Port Potti toilet and a basin mounted on the wall.

Engine Room:

The engine room is at the stern of the boat and houses a newly installed Beta 38 engine with less than 500 hours on the clock. The engine has a PRM 120 gearbox.
